Merge Sort:

Merge Sort is a classic example of the Divide and Conquer approach. Here is how it works:

  3. Combine: Merge the two sorted halves to produce the final sorted array.

The recurrence relation for Merge Sort is given by:

Solving this recurrence using the Master Theorem, we find that the time complexity of Merge Sort is \( O(n \log n) \).

Quick Sort:

Quick Sort also follows the Divide and Conquer strategy:
